Barbecue
Seasoning
Perfect for duplicating the spicy-sweet flavor of store-bought
barbecue sauce, Barbecue Seasoning is easy and inexpensive to use, just
blend up as much or as little as you want fresh each time, or, for the sake
of convenience, blend up 1-2 Cups and store in the fridge. Old-fashioned,
traditional Southern style flavor. Mix 1- 2 TB. in 1-2 TB. water, let stand
5 minutes, blend with 1 Cup ketchup or tomato sauce. Brush on chicken, ribs
or chops during grilling or broiling. Barbecue Seasoning is also great for
a dry-style barbecue, sprinkle meat, poultry or fish with lime or lemon
juice, then rub seasoning on, 1-2 tsp. per pound. Hand-mixed from: sweet
paprika, salt, sugar, Jamaican allspice, nutmeg, cayenne red pepper, Tellicherry
black pepper, garlic, ginger, cinnamon and thyme leaves. |
