| Turmeric
What makes mustard yellow? It isn't the mustard seed, it's the turmeric. Our powdered Indian turmeric has a very intense, bright yellow-orange color. Use only 2/3 of what a recipe calls for in pickles, mustard or Indian cooking. Turmeric is also the main ingredient in most Southern Indian yellow curry powders. In America most turmeric is used in producing the bright yellow ballpark style mustard. |
