Mere Bergstrom relaxes with her family in Durham, Connecticut.
Mere Bergstrom of Durham, Connecticut, loves a good party. She loves to prepare quick appetizers for her guests, too. “Crowd pleasers,” she calls them.
One savory party-starter that has been pleasing visitors for years is her Spinach Dip, which she adapted from a dressing mix package. Explains Mere, “There were too many ingredients on the package that I couldn’t even pronounce, let alone know what they were. So I made my own.”
Her guests are glad she did!
Next time you’re expecting a gathering, whip up a batch of Mere’s yummy dip and serve it with assorted chips or veggies for dipping.
Here’s a dip you can feel (almost) virtuous about eating, especially if you eat it with fresh veggies.
Mix all of the ingredients together and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve with fresh vegetables or pita chips.
