Cucumber and Mint Yogurt Sauce

This is a creamy, refreshing accompaniment to Shilpa's Chicken Tikka Masala. You can switch things up a bit by adding finely chopped apples, pomegranate seeds, grated carrots, finely chopped green onions, dill, diced banana or diced green chile peppers. Get creative!

  • 1 Cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp. salt, to taste
  • 1 tsp. GROUND CUMIN
  • 1/4 Cup finely chopped or grated seedless cucumber
  • 1 TB. chopped fresh mint

In a small glass bowl, combine the yogurt, salt, CUMIN, PEPPER and cucumber. Mix well. Garnish with the mint and serve with Chicken Tikka Masala or your favorite curry.
