It only takes a few simple ingredients to make an ordinary side dish truly extraordinary. You'll never go back to plain rice.


  • 2 Cups cooked rice
  • 2 TB. oil/butter or drippings
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced/diced
  • 1 tsp. FORWARD!
  • 2 TB. water
  • 1 tsp. RASPBERRY ENLIGHTENMENT
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce (we use low sodium)
       

Once you have cooked the rice according to package directions (be careful not to overcook), it can be used right away, or refrigerated until needed, which makes for a quick dinner! Heat the oil, butter, or drippings over medium-high heat. Add the onion, cook until lightly browned, 4-6 minutes. Sprinkle with FORWARD!, cook, stirring, for a minute or so. Add water and RASPBERRY ENLIGHTENMENT. Stir well, add rice. Sprinkle with soy sauce. Stir gently to coat and cook until rice is heated through.

Prep. time: 5 minutes plus 30 minutes rice cooking time
Cooking time: 8 minutes
