Simple, healthy and delicious!

  • 1 lb. asparagus
  • 1 TB. olive oil

Clean the asparagus, cutting off the woody bottoms but leaving the pieces large enough that they donít fall through the grill grate. Toss with olive oil, and let stand while heating the grill or cooking the bulk of the meal. Asparagus needs no more than 5 minutes on a medium hot grill. Just before cooking, sprinkle with NORTHWOODS SEASONING, then place on the hot grill. Turn once, after about 3 minutes. The cover can be on or off, depending on what else you are cooking. If it is on, the asparagus will cook a little more quickly. If it is off, the asparagus will be a little crispier, and youíll need to watch for flare-ups as the olive oil drips off and hits the coals. The asparagus can be served hot right off the grill, but it is also delicious if it needs to wait a bit for the rest of dinner to be done.
