Put a pot of water on to boil. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut into chunks. Boil the sweet potatoes until tender, about
20 minutes. Drain and set aside. In a small saucepan, heat the maple syrup, SWEET CURRY POWDER, GARAM MASALA and salt.
Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Mash the sweet potatoes. Add the syrup and mix well. Sprinkle with the pecans and serve.
