These appetizers are quick, easy, and best of all, delicious. They are ideal for a New Year's Eve spread. |

Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl. Start with 1/2 Cup bread crumbs. You may have to add more, but add only enough to hold the patties together. Using 1 TB. of the mixture, form into balls and then flatten into patties. Heat 1 TB. butter in a large frying pan over medium heat. When it is hot, fry the patties until golden brown, approximately 4 minutes per side. Be careful not to have the temperature too high, since you want the patties golden, not dark brown. We fried the patties in two batches. If you need more butter for the second batch, add another TB. Remove from the frying pan and serve while warm with Seafood Dipping Sauce. Seafood Dipping
Sauce 1 TB. HORSERADISH
POWDER Combine the HORSERADISH POWDER with the water and let sit for about 5 minutes. Add the ketchup and mustard. Whisk to combine. Prepare this ahead of time if possible, as the horseradish flavor gets stronger with time. Prep. time: 5 minutes |
