This tasty dressing really jazzes up ham & cheese cocktail rolls, so it’s perfect for parties–and a nice way to use up leftover ham. Remember, DILL pickle relish is the key. The sandwiches can be assembled, wrapped, and refrigerated or frozen until ready to pop into the oven–just thaw before baking. We prefer shaved ham and thinly sliced cheese for this recipe.


  • 1 stick butter, softened
  • 1/3 Cup prepared dijon style mustard
  • 1 TB. BLUE POPPY SEEDS
  • 3 TB. dill pickle relish
  • 1 small onion, chopped fine
  • 3/4 lb. Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 1 lb. sliced ham
  • 18 cocktail rolls

 


Preheat oven to 350°. In a medium bowl, use a fork or a large spoon to mash up the softened butter. Add the mustard, POPPY SEEDS, relish and onion; blend well. The dressing should not be thin, it should be like a spread. On each roll, mound some ham, and a slice of cheese and spread with about 1 TB. of the dressing. Wrap each sandwich individually in foil and bake at 350° for 10-15 minutes. Peek at one of the sandwiches at ten minutes to see if the cheese is melted.

Serves: 9.

Prep. time: 5 minutes.
