The perfect way to use OZARK SEASONING–crispy flavorful chicken breasts, without the mess and calories of frying. We used boneless breasts; drumsticks and wings are great, too. |

Preheat oven to
425°. Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 inch rectangular pan with nonstick cooking
spray. In a large shallow bowl combine flour with OZARK SEASONING and
GROUND PEPPER. Coat chicken (one piece at a time) liberally with flour
mixture, making sure to apply some beneath the skin–that way, even if
the skin is not eaten, the good Ozark flavor will be on the chicken. Shake
off excess flour mixture, place coated pieces skin side down in the pan.
Bake uncovered for 20 minutes. Turn chicken carefully by sliding a spatula
underneath to make sure the skin doesn't stick and bake for an additional
20 minutes or until the juices run clear if a piece is pierced. Serve
hot, warm or cold–the chicken stays crisp any way you serve it. Serves: 6 |
