Dick's Chili The chili recipe comes from Dick’s grandmother Hattie, while the chili powder is his own concoction. 4 oz. WHOLE dry ANCHO PEPPERS 2 oz. WHOLE dry CHIPOTLE PEPPERS 1/2-1 oz. WHOLE dry ARBOL CHILI PEPPERS (1 oz. is pretty darn hot) 1 TB. dark roast coffee beans 2 tsp. GRANULATED GARLIC POWDER 1 TB. GROUND CUMIN 2 lbs. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 2 32-oz. cans crushed tomatoes 1 large onion, finely chopped 8 TB. Chili Powder mixed with 2 TB. flour 2 4-oz. cans sliced black olives 1 16-oz. can kidney beans, drained 1 TB. MARJORAM 1 tsp. MEXICAN OREGANO 1/2-2 tsp. salt, to taste
