Every time there is a family get-together, this is the dish that people ask me to bring. It is a perfect gluten-free dessert to share." 10-12 oz. fresh (or frozen) cranberries, rinsed and picked over 1 Cup apple juice 2/3 Cup granulated sugar 1/4 Cup lemon juice (juice of 1 lemon) 3 TB. cornstarch 2-2 1/2 lbs. apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/4-inch slices 1 1/2 Cups gluten-free baking mix (we used Bob's Red Mill and it was great) 1/2 Cup gluten-free rolled oats (oats themselves are gluten-free but are often processed in flour-handling facilities, so check the label) 1/4 Cup light brown sugar, packed 1/2 Cup granulated sugar 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. PENZEYS CINNAMON 1/2-3/4 tsp. GROUND NUTMEG 1/2 Cup butter, cut in small squares
