Northwoods Chicken Stew This is a wonderful fall dish, perfect for a Sunday dinner with a salad and a loaf of bread. <!-- x-tinymce/html -->1 TB. butter 2 medium red onions, finely chopped 2 TB. NORTHWOODS SEASONING 1 Cup peeled carrots, sliced into coins (about 3) 4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered 1 whole bone-in chicken breast, cut in two pieces 1 tsp. balsamic or red wine vinegar 1/4 tsp. sugar 2 TB. flour 2 WHOLE TURKISH BAY LEAVES 4 Cups chicken stock (3 1/2 Cups stock and 1/2 Cup red wine is nice)
