Spicy Ham and Lentil Stew This deliciously spicy stew is great with ham but can also be a delicious vegan dish made with carrots. 2 Cups ham, diced 1 onion, peeled and sliced 6-10 Cups water 1-2 Cups dried lentils or split peas 1-3 tsp. ETHIOPIAN-STYLE PEPPER BLEND (3 will be really hot) 4 red potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks 2 carrots, peeled and sliced into coins 1/4-1 tsp. salt, to taste
